A PLACE WITHOUT PREJUDICE : ARTWORKS
Proud Watford's vision is summed up by ‘a place without prejudice’.
Between now and 18th January we’re asking for anyone and everyone to express their own understanding of what ‘a place without prejudice’ looks and feels like in an original artwork.
‘An artwork’ includes paintings, collages, assemblages, photographs and anything else that’s a physical expression of ‘a place without prejudice’ and capable of display (but not writing nor video – that’s for another time).
‘Everyone and anyone’ includes you – it’s your idea that matters, not your artistic ability – ‘a place without prejudice: artworks’ isn’t a competition but instead our collective chance to understand how we feel about ourselves and each other.
Then on Saturday 25th January we’ll hold an exhibition of the pieces at St Mary’s Church in Watford.
